Caught In The Act (2007)

This was a collaborative research project undertaken with Fran Wilde, and supported by Chelmsford Borough Council and Kall Kwik. The brief we set ourselves was to use drawing as an investigative tool to explore the West End of Chelmsford, an area undergoing rapid change.

The act of drawing quickly focused our attention on the flow of people through the area, and for me more specifically, the forest of signs that control this movement; directing, dictating, and tempting.

The progress of the project was documented in a blog and charted on a project map.
